The implementation of Micro-credential as an aspect capable of developing the 21st Century skills of students as well as the marketability of graduates in institutions of higher learning due to its progressive nature, as well as emphasizing the element of 'self-realization' (Bernstein 2000).
Due to its nature involving a smaller coverage of topics or skills, the duration of learning for each Micro-credential course is certainly shorter compared to the implementation of courses in any academic program.
