Micro-credentials are small units of learning that are mostly recognized and can be collected and used by a student to obtain an academic qualification. There are two types of Micro-credentials:

Micro-credential programmes based
Micro-credential stand-alone

Who is eligible to pursue Micro-credentials?

Open and not subject to any academic qualification requirements

What is the difference between micro-credentials and a traditional degree?

Micro-credentials are implemented in the form of module fractions that are smaller in size compared to Traditional Degrees. The duration of learning for each Micro-credentials is also shorter than Traditional Degrees

Can I transfer my Micro-credentials credits to a degree program in the future?

Yes, it can with certain conditions

For Programme-Based, you can transfer directly
For Stand-Alone, you can transfer by using APEL.C

Are any prerequisites or prior knowledge required to enroll in a Micro-credentials program?

There are no prerequisites or prior knowledge required to enroll in a Micro-credentials program
